Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Greater Tampa Bay, FL, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. The Director of Operations will oversee daily business activities, streamline processes, and drive operational efficiency to support company goals. Key responsibilities include managing cross-departmental operations, optimizing budgets, overseeing teams, analyzing performance metrics, and enhancing customer service strategies. The role requires a strategic mindset with a strong focus on ensuring that organizational objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
• Lead and scale distribution and supply chain operations
• Oversee daily distribution center activities, inventory management, and workflow optimization
• Develop and implement scalable logistics and fulfillment processes
• Build and manage relationships with suppliers, vendors, and distribution partners
• Understand key terms of existing vendor contracts and recommend future changes
• Establish KPIs and performance metrics aligned with company goals
• Lead and develop a small team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
• Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership, product, and clinical teams
• Provide reporting and insights to executive leadership
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or distribution
• Experience in medical device or regulated manufacturing preferred
• Exposure to FDA, State, or similar regulatory environments preferred
• Proven leadership experience to develop and lead teams in an operational setting
• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a growing environment
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in supply chain, operations, engineering, business or related field
• Excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must be able to be on call and available as business needs require.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
