Job Summary – Quality Inspector

Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Utilize non-destructive testing methods (such as Magnetic Testing, Dye Penetrant, and CR Film Interpretation) to support manufacturing quality.
Create and document non-conformity reports for identified discrepancies.
Manage and maintain inspection records, QA/QC files, and related administrative tasks.
Ensure calibration and proper functioning of inspection tools and instruments per ISO and QA/QC guidelines.
Collaborate with the Quality Manager to identify process, equipment, and tool improvements.
Quarantine and control non-conforming products to prevent further processing.
Archive and maintain technical data, codes, and standards to support customer satisfaction.
Provide technical support to manufacturing teams regarding defect detection and product acceptance/rejection criteria.
Interpret results from nondestructive testing to verify product integrity.
Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality processes.

Ideal Candidate Should Have

Experience in welding inspection or as a welder.
Background in Quality Control or related inspection roles.
Knowledge of machine design, machining processes, technical drawings, and QC activities.
Willingness to learn new technical tools (e.g., 3D arm, PMI, OES devices).
Certification in MT, PT, and RFI (or willingness to obtain).
Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
High attention to detail and a rigorous, reliable approach to inspection.
Effective teamwork and proactive attitude toward improvements.
Eligibility to work in the United States and ability to work a hybrid schedule (office and remote locations).
