We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Construction Laborer to join our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring that our construction projects run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This physically demanding role offers opportunities for on-the-job training and advancement within the company. Perform a variety of manual tasks to support daily operations at construction sites, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring all safety standards are maintained.

Responsibilities

Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris, garbage, and potential hazards to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to appropriate locations on the site.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools
Erect and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding, bracing, and barricades, ensuring proper setup and safety compliance.
Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, electricians, and painters) with their duties as directed by supervisors.

Requirements and Qualifications

Physical Strength and Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, and pushing.
Lifting Ability: Must be able to lift and move heavy objects (typically up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, sometimes more depending on the project).
Work Environment: Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, sun, snow, wind).
Reliability: Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential.
Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, follow instructions, and communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers.
Safety Consciousness: Strong awareness of surroundings and commitment to adhering to all safety regulations.
Licenses: A valid driver's license
