Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support manufacturing processes, including forging and roll threading
- Develop and optimize processes for high-strength alloys (e.g., Inconel 718, A286, MP159)
- Work across the full product lifecycle, from process development through production scale-up
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to establish best practices in aerospace manufacturing
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Ensure compliance with aerospace and defense quality standards
- Support the development of new product lines and manufacturing capabilities
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in aerospace or high-specification metals manufacturing
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Forging and roll threading
- Processing alloys such as 718 (including cold-worked and high-strength variants), A286, and MP159
- Working with solution annealed, work-hardened, and age-hardened materials
- Strong background in metals manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, fastener production, and coating operations
- Experience operating in high-standard environments (aerospace, defense, or specialty metals)
Preferred Experience
- Background with established aerospace fastener manufacturers or similar high-performance component producers
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
- Experience contributing to new product introduction or business line expansion
What You’ll Bring
- Strong technical depth combined with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
- Ability to thrive in a growth-focused, evolving organization
- Passion for working on complex, high-performance components that require precision and innovation
- Interest in helping build and scale a new aerospace manufacturing capability
Opportunity
This role offers a unique opportunity to be foundational in building a rapidly growing aerospace business line, with ambitious revenue targets and strong leadership support. You’ll be part of an organization known for tackling difficult-to-manufacture, high-value components, creating a strong competitive advantage in the market.
