RSU #10 District- Is seeking a Director of Transportation
The RSU #10 Transportation Director is responsible for providing safe, clean, well-maintained and equipped efficient student transportation serving approximately 1700 students.
The four buildings span two regions including Mountain Valley with two buildings and Nezinscot Region with two buildings. The director oversees approximately forty-five staff including bus drivers, mechanics, and transportation office staff.
The ability to communicate and build relationships are key components of this position. Asking for, listening to, and putting into action all stakeholder voices while ensuring a focus on what is best for students is paramount. We are seeking someone who is able to lead with integrity and empathy, and who connects with our staff and community. The ability to remain calm and patient in stressful situations is a must.
