We are looking for a Plumbing Project Manager to oversee plumbing and mechanical construction projects from planning through completion. This role is highly field-oriented and requires a hands-on leader who is actively involved on job sites, supporting crews and driving daily progress. The position focuses on coordinating field operations, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and according to specifications. This is a strong fit for someone with a superintendent-type background and deep plumbing knowledge who can lead teams and keep projects moving in real time.
Responsibilities
- Manage plumbing and mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through final completion
- Lead and supervise field crews, subcontractors, and on-site personnel to ensure efficient execution
- Maintain a strong presence on job sites to monitor progress, address issues, and support field teams
- Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project timelines
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and scope requirements to guide field execution
- Track project budgets, costs, and production to maintain profitability and performance
- Communicate regularly with clients, general contractors, and internal teams regarding project status
- Resolve field issues quickly by providing practical, experience-based solutions
- Ensure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, schedules, and updates
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in plumbing construction with strong field leadership experience
- Background as a Superintendent, Foreman, or hands-on Project Manager within plumbing or mechanical construction
- Proven ability to lead crews and manage job site operations in real time
- Strong understanding of plumbing systems, installation methods, and construction sequencing
- Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and project timelines effectively
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate across teams
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and compliance requirements
