Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site leadership role. The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations across Forgotten Star’s taproom, event space, and food truck—ensuring a high standard of execution, efficiency, and guest experience across every touchpoint.
This role has full ownership of operational performance, including staffing, systems, and financial oversight. The Director of Operations will lead and develop a cross-functional team, set and execute operational strategy, and drive accountability through clear processes and performance metrics. This position reports directly to ownership and plays a key role in shaping the continued growth and evolution of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, hiring, and developing managers and staff across taproom, events, and food truck operations
- Owning and managing budgets, labor, and cost controls to meet financial goals
- Creating and refining systems to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability
- Overseeing scheduling, staffing plans, and operational readiness for daily service and events
- Monitoring performance metrics and implementing improvements to drive results
- Ensuring a high standard of hospitality and guest experience across all areas
- Collaborating with ownership on strategic planning, growth initiatives, and long-term vision
This role requires a hands-on leader who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and willing to jump in wherever needed. The schedule includes evenings, weekends, and event-driven hours.
Success in this role will be measured by the ability to build strong teams, improve operational efficiency, maintain exceptional guest experiences, and drive overall business performance.
Salary:
$90,000–$110,000 annually, plus performance-based incentives

- Strong Operations Management and Analytical Skills to ensure successful and efficient operations
- Proven experience in Team Management and leadership to oversee and inspire staff
- Expertise in Budgeting and financial planning to optimize resources and achieve organizational goals
- Commitment to delivering exceptional Customer Service to enhance guest experiences
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment
