Title: Creative Project Manager
Duration: 6-12 months+ extensions
Location: 2-3 days onsite in our Downtown NY office
We are seeking an Associate Creative Project Coordinator/Manager to support operations within our Center of Excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed, studio-style team and contribute to building a strong operational foundation. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and understands how creative teams function. You can interpret briefs clearly, build realistic timelines based on capacity, and help keep projects moving efficiently.
In this role, you will support day-to-day project coordination, align with creative leadership on priorities, and ensure work progresses smoothly and on schedule. You thrive in fast-paced environments and bring a thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach to managing multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on exposure to creative operations or project coordination (agency, in-house, marketing)
- Support projects from intake through final delivery, ensuring smooth workflow across scoping, production, review, and release
- Review briefs to confirm scope, requirements, and assets are complete before work begins
- Build and manage timelines aligned to priorities and team capacity
- Coordinate across design, writing, marketing, and stakeholders to maintain clarity and alignment
- Track progress, manage schedules, and communicate status, risks, and next steps
- Facilitate review cycles by consolidating feedback into clear, actionable direction
- Maintain organized documentation, file management, and version control
- Contribute to workflow improvements that enhance efficiency and accountability
- Familiarity with building dashboards and reporting views in PM tools
What You Bring:
- Experience in creative operations and project coordination within agency, in-house, or marketing environments
- Understanding of creative processes, timelines, and terminology
- Ability to translate briefs into structured, actionable plans
- Experience supporting projects across digital, retail, advertising, marketing, social, or print channels
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Clear communication and follow-through
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Interest in leveraging tools and emerging technologies, including AI, to improve creative operations
- Ability to build effective cross-functional relationships
- Curiosity about automation, process optimization, and studio scalability
- Knowledge of design file type
