About us
Our goal is to Provide EMTs and Paramedics for Wildland Fires in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Utah
You ideally live in Washington, Oregon, or Idaho. You will need a current Red Card for the 2025 season with us.
EMS LLC is hiring for the 2026 fire season. We will be providing EMTF and EMTP for Wildland and Forest Fire deployments. The pay range is $675 for EMTS and $900 for medics per day (based on a traditional 16 hour shift) The pay is a cumulative of an hourly rate along with overtime as well as a health and welfare benefit. Deployments are generally 14 to 21 straight days. Our ambulance model is a two person team (Medic and EMT) or (EMT and EMT) with a fully loaded ambulance. We added Med-Mods and a Med-trailer for the coming season. Med-Mods are EMT and Medic, Med trailer will be staffed by (Medic/Medic or Medic/RN, Medic/PA or NP). We deploy single resource Medics and EMTs to incidents as well. The fire season is from spring to late Fall historically. There are often multiple deployments in a season available. Deployments are usually offered on a short notice basis, and applicants need to be able to travel with short notice. The work environment varies greatly, and primarily will be on or near fire scenes. Anything from hiking to sitting in an ambulance or camp for the majority of the day. Your ability to self manage, be flexible, and be able to work at the drop of a hat is critical. Typical deployments involve camping in a tent for the duration with meals provided by the group running the fire event.
