Project Manager – Fence Sales
Cape Cod Fence Co. in Canton, Connecticut has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Manager at our high-volume fence company.
Cape Cod Fence Co. is the area’s most respected designer and installer of quality fencing. We are seeking a motivated, organized professional who can own a project from the initial customer interaction through final installation and close-out.
Responsibilities:
The Project Manager is responsible for selling, planning, coordinating, and managing customer projects from beginning to completion. This role combines initial sales contact, customer relationship management, and hands-on project oversight to ensure each job is completed to Cape Cod Fence Co.’s quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers from initial inquiry through project completion.
- Consult with customers to understand their needs, present fence materials, styles, and options, and develop accurate, competitive project estimates.
- Manage all aspects of sold projects, including scheduling, materials coordination, and communication with installation crews.
- Oversee projects before, during, and after installation to ensure timelines, quality standards, and customer expectations are met.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with customers, office staff, and field crews throughout all phases of the project.
- Follow up with customers after installation to ensure satisfaction and address any final items.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to build trust and confidence with customers.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to manage projects from design and sale through installation and completion.
- Comfortable working closely with installation crews and coordinating field operations.
- Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and industry-specific systems (training provided for company software).
- Energetic, self-motivated, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
