Duties

You will serve as the focal point for all product support, providing logistics leadership and technical guidance for major acquisition programs.
You will develop, plan, and execute the logistics program budgets and oversee all associated funding requirements, scheduling, and staffing.
You will manage the full lifecycle of program contracts, from developing Statements of Work (SOWs) and data requirements to monitoring performance.
You will lead the development of logistics sustainment documentation and manage the execution of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Technical Directives.
You will brief and interact with senior leadership, coordinating with joint services and defense agencies to ensure program capabilities meet multi-service needs. Requirements Conditions of employment

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band (DS-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate duties related to the following: 1) Leading logistics and sustainment efforts for major defense acquisition programs, serving as the primary liaison to senior leadership, joint services, and defense agency stakeholders; 2) Managing personnel, budgets, and financial controls to prioritize tasking, establish funding and workloads, and allocate manpower resources for complex programs; 3) Developing logistics sustainment documentation and testing criteria in the SETR process, and overseeing the development and execution of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Technical Directives; and 4) Managing contracts through the development of Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and performance monitoring to ensure product capabilities meet joint and multi-service needs.
