One of the top mechanical contractors in the area is looking for a sales person to create new accounts and handle some existing accounts in the Western New York Area --

Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely project estimates based on project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents
- Analyze project requirements and determine the most cost-effective approach
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Review and interpret construction contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and identify potential risks or challenges
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing for materials and equipment
- Prepare and present estimates to clients, including detailed breakdowns of labor, materials, and other project costs
- Participate in negotiations with clients to finalize project contracts
- Mechanical Engineering Degree is a definite plus
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC construction estimating
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles, practices, and techniques
- Familiarity with project management and construction management processes
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project documents and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating project costs
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
