The Project Manager will be the main point of contact between the various sales teams and the production departments for the definition and development of bespoke products related to specific projects.
The core contribution of this role will be to liaise with production teams (both in China and elsewhere) and coordinate the entire product development process, including visuals, samples, feasibility assessment, and the anticipation of potential development challenges. Once the project is approved by the client, the Project Manager will be responsible for setting up and inputting all the necessary information into the system, enabling the supply chain to proceed with placing orders with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning & Execution: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Create detailed project plans and work schedules
- Communication: Serve as the central point of contact between the sales team and production team overseas
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles and develop and implement strategies to overcome them
- Monitoring and Control: Track project progress against the schedule. Use project management tools to monitor performance and prepare reports.
Key Experiences
- 2-5 years in Project Management experience required. Work experience in China or with China based company preferred
