Industrial / Manufacturing Engineer
Location: San Antonio, TX
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer to support internal logistics engineering initiatives across multiple facilities. This role plays a key part in optimizing material flow, improving supply chain efficiency, and supporting mission‑critical manufacturing operations. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, lead engineering projects, and drive continuous improvement across internal delivery processes.
What You’ll Do
- Lead cross‑functional internal logistics projects to improve material delivery, routing, and flow.
- Analyze current systems and challenge ideal conditions to establish optimized, efficient business processes.
- Develop and execute strategy to standardize, consolidate, and visualize supply chain data/KPIs related to internal delivery and returns handling.
- Collaborate with NAMC departments and Pilot Engineers to define process requirements, equipment needs, infrastructure development, and ensure system compliance.
- Support and lead installation of internal logistics equipment (automated & manual delivery systems).
- Support NAPSC training and testing activities.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Excel, Project, and Planner.
- Ability and willingness to travel 50%+ domestically and internationally.
What You May Bring (Preferred)
- Experience with AutoCAD layout design.
- Proven project management capabilities.
- Background in Automation / Innovation project installation.
- Training or experience with Material & Information Flow Charting.
- TPS fundamentals or equivalent lean manufacturing experience.
