Position Overview
This role supports large-scale technical facilities by overseeing material movement, inventory integrity, and the full lifecycle of physical assets. The individual ensures that equipment is received, tracked, stored, deployed, and retired accurately while enabling smooth day-to-day operations for onsite technical teams.
Key Functions
- Track physical assets from intake to removal, including identification, labeling, and accurate record maintenance within internal tracking systems
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, validating contents, assessing condition upon arrival, and updating systems promptly
- Conduct routine inventory validations and scheduled counts to maintain high accuracy standards and minimize operational disruptions
- Monitor stock availability and address shortages or discrepancies before they impact installation, repair, or deployment activities
- Process material requests from engineering and operations teams, ensuring timely and precise fulfillment
- Maintain organized storage and staging areas aligned to active projects, repairs, and deployments
- Work with external suppliers on returns, replacements, and warranty-related activities
- Facilitate access and oversight for third-party service providers and delivery personnel as required
- Prepare operational reports and performance summaries related to inventory health, utilization, and aging equipment
- Assist with documentation, process optimization, and continuous improvement efforts
Required Background
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a comparable field, or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of three years supporting inventory, warehousing, logistics, or material management operations within a technical or industrial environment
- Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets, reporting tools, or database-driven systems for tracking and analysis
Desired Experience
- Prior exposure to large-scale technical facilities or high-volume infrastructure environments
- Hands-on experience with inventory platforms, enterprise systems, or asset databases
- Familiarity with enterprise hardware such as compute, networking, or storage equipment
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and communicate effectively across teams
