Why this role exists
INIT is building a dedicated Business Unit for cloud mobility solutions inside the US market, operating in parallel to the existing INIT organization.
This role ensures that our BU delivers high-quality projects, protects scope and margin, and builds long-term customer success — even when multiple internal units and sales teams are involved.
You are not a task coordinator.
You are the delivery owner for BU New Mobility solutions at your assigned transit agencies.
Your mission
You will be responsible for the successful delivery of BU Mobility Cloud products (mobile ticketing, account-based ticketing, charging, planning and digital mobility services) at US transit agencies.
You own:
- Delivery success
- Scope and change management
- Customer satisfaction
- BU credibility in the US market
Sales may sign the deal.
You make sure it works — and stays profitable.
What you will be responsible for
- Lead end-to-end implementation of BU Mobility Cloud software at NA public transit agencies
- Act as the primary delivery and BU contact for assigned customer accounts
- Translate agency requirements into delivery plans, timelines, and work packages for consulting and development teams
- Control scope, manage change requests, and initiate commercial change processes in coordination with Sales and the Contract Manager
- Ensure high-quality go-lives, system stability, and operational handover
- Run regular steering committees and executive-level customer meetings
- Identify risks early and drive resolution across all involved teams (BU, init.inc, engineering, partners)
- Support account growth by identifying expansion opportunities and enabling Presales and Sales
- Contribute to building scalable delivery standards for BU New Mobility in the US
- Ensure projects are delivered in a cost-efficient manner while meeting profitability targets.
What we are looking for
You are an experienced delivery professional who has run complex technology projects in NA.
You bring:
- Some college is required / Bachelor in Business, Engineering or related field is desired
- 5–10+ years of experience leading software or systems implementations, preferably in public transit or public-sector environments
- Strong ownership of scope, timelines, commercial targets and customer relationships
- Experience working with contracts, change requests, and multi-vendor environments
- Confidence in dealing with agency executives, IT leadership, and operations teams
- Ability to navigate political, regulatory, and procurement-driven organizations
- Structured, hands-on, and comfortable taking responsibility when things get tough
- Willingness to travel up to 50% across North America
PMP, Agile, or similar certifications are helpful — but the ability to own outcomes matters more.
