Product Support / Logistic Support — Journeyman

Position Overview
The Product Support / Logistic Support Specialist provides logistics and sustainment support to the U.S. Army Combatant Capabilities Development Command – Simulation and Training Instrumentation (CPE STRI) in support of Product Line Training Support Office (PL TSO) programs and Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS). The position supports planning, coordination, and execution of logistics and product support activities to ensure training systems are properly fielded, sustained, and supported throughout their operational lifecycle in alignment with cost, schedule, performance, and readiness objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Product Support / Logistic Support Specialist provides logistics and product support across the lifecycle of training systems under established guidance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support lifecycle logistics and product support activities for PL TSO-managed training systems and TADSS across development, fielding, sustainment, and modernization efforts
- Support development, review, and execution of product support strategies, sustainment plans, and logistics documentation
- Assist with coordination of supply, maintenance, transportation, and fielding activities to support training system delivery and sustainment
- Support logistics inputs to acquisition and sustainment documentation, including Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and technical and logistics requirements packages
- Track asset accountability and configuration status for PL TSO-managed systems
- Support inventory management, spares planning, maintenance and repair coordination, and logistics data analysis
- Support training device fielding, New Equipment Training (NET), and sustainment events
- Assist with coordination of logistics support for testing, demonstrations, exercises, and Government Acceptance Testing (GAT) activities
- Prepare and support logistics reports, metrics, and briefings for PL TSO leadership and Government stakeholders
- Coordinate with program managers, engineers, trainers, and acquisition personnel to ensure logistics activities align with cost, schedule, performance, and readiness objectives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (required; no substitutions permitted)
- Active U.S. Government security clearance (required)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience providing logistics, product support, or sustainment support
- Experience supporting logistics documentation and sustainment activities for DoD programs
- Familiarity with logistics inputs to acquisition and sustainment documentation, including SOWs, PWSs, and CDRLs
- Experience supporting inventory management, fielding, NET, or sustainment activities
