Summary:
The purpose of this position is to perform administrative, procurement, and project management assistance work in the Department. The duties include assisting managers and engineers with day-to-day tasks related to contract support and compliance, as well as assisting with oversight of certain contracts. This will include monitoring of projects and contracts from development through procurement/bidding, award and construction. This position requires preparing or assisting in the preparation of a variety of reports and related information for decision-making purposes. The position ensures internal and external communications are effective, accurate, timely, and supports department initiatives. This position may serve as member of various employee committees and complete special projects as assigned.
***Pay Range: $31.03/hourly - $40.83/hourly - $51.04/hourly***

Responsibilities:
- Manages projects by monitoring progress, ensuring compliance, facilitating regular meetings, and monitoring the project budget.
- Assists with processing, tracking, and final approval of contracts and supplemental agreements.
- Assists with developing and processing the documents, forms, and estimates necessary to recover costs to repair NTTA assets and lost revenue related to third party crashes.
- Supports planning activities by providing review and analysis of maintenance issues as assigned, ensuring compliance with rules, regulations, policies and assisting with interlocal agreements, leases, license agreements, manages the preparation and development of board agenda items.
- Prepares and manages the annual budget by researching information, recommending purchases, expenditures, capital equipment, monitoring ongoing expenditures, and recommending budget adjustments.
- Preparation of manuals and other publications on improved solutions, processes, methods and procedures after conducting research and analyzing reports and findings.
- Maintains the contract filing system by keeping the records in the proper location and filing in a timely manner.
- Completes project tasks and manages consultant and vendor contracts by preparing the contracts, developing specifications, reviewing plans and specifications, ensuring all regulations are followed, participating in the consultant and vendor selection process, ensuring schedules are met, reviewing and authorizing payments.
- Assists with compiling information, reviewing data and creating reports related to crashes, crimes, and other law enforcement activity.
- Ability to cope with job related stress including but not limited to deadlines, customer, supervisory and staff interactions, multi-tasking and high work volumes is required.

Qualifications:
Minimum:
- 5-7 years of related experience.
- Associate’s degree
- Valid driver’s license.
