Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager with a strong background in plumbing and sheet metal to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of various mechanical projects. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of commercial projects and will be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client specifications and company standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and subcontractors to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee plumbing and sheet metal fabrication and installation processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing effective solutions to maintain project timelines and budgets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing mechanical projects, preferably in plumbing and sheet metal fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing codes, and sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Proven experience in commercial project management, with a track record of successfully completed projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
