This is a travel-heavy, field-based position. You’ll work outdoors, help prevent underground utility hazards, and enjoy 4-day workweeks, steady hours, and paid travel.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Traffic Control Technician you’ll set up professional work zones that protect our CCTV crews and the public. If you’re reliable, safety-focused, and enjoy working outdoors, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Set up/take down traffic control per MUTCD/Caltrans standards; flag as needed.
Stage cones/signage; maintain safe approaches around manholes and equipment.
Coordinate moves with Operator/Backend; keep trucks stocked and organized.
Complete basic documentation/checklists.

WHAT YOU BRING

Can-do attitude, steady under pressure, strong attention to detail.
Safety-first mindset, punctuality, clear communication.
Valid CA Driver’s License with clean MVR.
Traffic Control Flagger Certification a plus (we will train/certify if needed).
Able to lift 50–75 lbs and work in varying weather.
Willingness to travel (75% required)
Open to learning – You’re eager to grow, ask questions, and master new skills.
Process-driven – You follow steps, stay organized, and don’t cut corners.
Strong communicator – You listen, give feedback, and work well with the team.
