Role Description
The Fleet Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Denver, CO. In this position, you will oversee the daily operations and maintenance of Denver Water's fleet, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities include managing maintenance schedules, supervising fleet staff, tracking inventory, ensuring operational efficiency, and implementing cost-effective strategies. Additionally, the Fleet Supervisor will work closely with leadership to ensure that the fleet meets organizational needs and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience in fleet management, vehicle maintenance, and asset tracking
- Proven ability to lead, supervise, and motivate teams
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety compliance, operational standards, and environmental regulations related to fleet management
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in using fleet management software and related tools
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Fleet Management, Transportation, Logistics, or related field
- Experience in sustainable fleet practices is a plus
