Position Summary
The Regional Vice President (RVP) of Distribution for Threaded Fasteners, Inc oversees the eastern division of the company, managing complex supply chains, sales strategies, logistics, and inventory to ensure efficient product flow (like bolts, nuts, & fasteners etc.) from suppliers to customers, often leading diverse teams across multiple states or regions, with key responsibilities including cost reduction, service improvement, and sales growth. The RVP of Distribution will be crucial in shaping the region's future, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate activities of multiple businesses or departments concerned with the pricing, sales, or distribution of products.
- Identify and evaluate potential locations for new branches to enhance market presence.
- Drive the expansion of the region by targeting and acquiring complementary businesses.
- Optimizing logistics networks, inventory accuracy, and delivery reliability.
- Developing and executing regional sales plans, leading sales teams (inside/outside), and driving growth.
- Managing location center operations, including shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment across multiple states.
- Review, sales/activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity goal achievement to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
- Building and leading high-performance teams, overseeing regional P&L, and ensuring strategic alignment.
- Develop and execute regional growth strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential locations for new branches to enhance market presence.
- Drive the expansion of the region by targeting and acquiring complementary businesses.
- Attract, recruit, and retain top talent to build a high-performing regional team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and employee engagement.
- Implement effective onboarding and training programs for new hires.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate branch managers and their teams to achieve business goals.
- Collaborate with other regional VPs and senior leadership to share insights and drive company-wide initiatives.

Education And Experience Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven track record of driving regional growth and managing multi-location operations.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role within the industrial supply or related industry.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region
- Valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements
Preferred Education, Experience, And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Safety, or related field
- Previous experience in manufacturing/distribution environment
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience developing and managing a department budget
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be able to handle multiple priorities with professionalism in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining safety and quality
