As the VP, IT Operations in our Miramar Operations Center, you will maintain and operate within a cost-effective IT budget, including supporting budget planning and forecasting reviews. Define and communicate technology priorities for the organization based on business impact, risk, cost efficiency, and overall business requirements. The VP, IT Operations will work in partnership with the Chief Information Officer on the design and execution of critical initiatives that will enhance the technical architecture and build & deliver a comprehensive strategy for IT Operations. This role will help drive technology transformation while continuing to deliver reliable IT services that meet or exceed employee/member expectations.

VP, IT Operations Key Responsibilities
- Oversees teams managing infrastructure, service delivery, cybersecurity, and overall IT operational performance.
- Partners closely with the CIO to shape the IT Operations roadmap, align technology with business priorities, and guide strategic decision‑making.
- Builds a strong, collaborative IT culture by mentoring high‑performing teams, maturing service management practices, and fostering a secure, user‑friendly environment.
- Ensures operational excellence through vendor management, design reviews, process assessments, and continuous improvement of tools and services.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive IT Operations and security strategies aligned with industry best practices and organizational goals.
- Advises executive leadership on technology strategy, prioritization, and solutions that support the mission and long‑term roadmap of Space Coast Credit Union.
VP, IT Operations Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in leading IT infrastructure, service delivery, security, and compliance disciplines including experience in people management. Minimum 10+ years of experience in progressive technology engineering
- Exceptional technical skills, marked by poise, positive influence, creative solution mindset, and ability to drive change.
- Demonstrated ability to employ judgement and experience to make rapid, complex decisions.
