We are seeking a mechanical engineering professional to support the design and development of custom automated systems for Medical and Life Sciences applications. This role works in a collaborative engineering environment, contributing to the creation of complex automation equipment from concept through integration and testing.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop custom automated equipment using advanced mechanical engineering principles
- Create 3D and 2D CAD models, detailed drawings, and engineering documentation
- Collaborate with controls, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical subsystems
- Perform tolerance analysis, risk assessments, and proof-of-principle testing
- Support suppliers, procurement, assembly, debugging, and system testing
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 1-2 years of mechanical design experience in automation, machinery, or engineered systems
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (AutoCAD/DraftSight a plus)
- Working knowledge of GD&T, machine design, manufacturing processes, and materials
