The Director, IT Operations will play a pivotal position in defining, implementing, and refining ASG’s technology stack across Allied’s operating companies. The role requires a hands-on IT leader with experience in M&A and change management, who is excited by the opportunity to partner with Finance, HR, and regional leaders to unify enterprise systems across ASG.
Key Responsibilities:
Unified IT System Establishment
- Develop and execute a strategy to establish common IT systems across ASG and its operating companies, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability.
- Drive ERP, HRIS, and other system integration and alignment within the company.
Security Management
- Define and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices to safeguard company data and assets.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats and trends to proactively address potential risks.
- Define a calendar for IT Security training, to ensure all team members with access to company devices are aware of common threats.
Equipment Needs
- Identify and manage equipment requirements across the organization, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Establish procurement processes and vendor relationships to support equipment needs efficiently.
M&A Experience
- Support due diligence processes for potential acquisitions, assessing IT infrastructure, systems, and capabilities.
- Drive technology integration post-acquisition to ensure seamless transitions and maximize system synergies.
Change Management
- Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions during technology implementations, upgrades, and organizational changes.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the IT organization and broader company.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with a proven track record in M&A (ideal but not required), change management, and enterprise-wide system implementations.
- Experience with ERP implementation is required.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, and technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
