Woodfort Industrial Concrete Group, LLC is a small concrete contractor specializing in commercial and industrial foundations. We are a professional and innovative concrete contractor whose main goals are to provide our clients with the best quality projects and the best customer service possible while utilizing small crews that focus on safety and professionalism. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Structural Concrete Foreman.
Overview
A Concrete Foreman will be entirely responsible for all projects as assigned this includes enabling the completion of jobs in a safe and timely manner by scheduling and overseeing the work crew, ensuring the adequate equipment and materials are on site in a timely manner, the repair and maintenance of the equipment, training crews and assisting with special projects as assigned. The foreman will be responsible for all site safety, implementation of WICG Safety Policy, and site security as it pertains to WICG; this includes awareness of utilities, structures and other trade partners or sub-contractors that hinder our ability to work and move around a project. This position will also be responsible for all aspects of blueprint reading, layout, formwork installation, placement of concrete, removal of formwork and all associated tools and equipment as required to complete the assigned project. The expectation of the Concrete Foreman is to weigh all these responsibilities and to exercise sound judgement regarding safety, customer service, product quality, weather and site conditions.

· Understand and follow through with WICG Employee Safety Manual and associated policies. Set the example for PPE usage (hard hat, safety glasses, hi-vis, work boots, and any other PPE as assigned by JHA)

· Be productive – make good use of downtime and quickly problem solve when needed.
Experience
· 5 or more years of experience in a similar position or industry. Preference to Concrete or Framing.
· 2 or more years of experience using concrete forming systems, such as Symons or Advance.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Must have experience accomplishing tasks with minimal to no supervision.
· Experience in industry standards and techniques for layout.
Physical Requirements
· This job requires close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
· This position requires the employee to demonstrate full range of motion with neck, arms, shoulders, hands, torso, legs, and feet.
· The employee will frequently need full manual dexterity to complete tasks assigned.
· The ability to talk and hear is essential to this position.
· Ability to regularly lift, carry, push or pull materials and tools up to 100 lbs. using abdominal and lower back muscles repeatedly without ‘giving out’ or fatiguing.
The position requires the employee to stand or kneel repeatedly for extensive periods of time.
