River City Roofing Company is a leading roofing and home services provider, focused on delivering high-quality installations and exceptional customer service. As we continue to scale, we are seeking a skilled Roof Measurement Technician to oversee and enhance our production operations.
Job Summary
The Measurement Tech will lead our roofing installation teams, ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. The technician will accurately measure roofs using lasers, tape measures, and software to create detailed reports for project managers ensuring materials are ordered correctly, while adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately collect roofing data (pitch, dimensions, features)
- Ability to build material lists based off of measurements collected
- Develop and refine installation processes to improve efficiency from lead to completion.
- Utilize a CRM to update project notes
- Adapt to weather delays, customer requests, and business demands while minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to align on project timelines.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in roofing, home services, or construction management.
- Previous experience measuring and building materials lists
- Acculynx experience preferred
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and quality control standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift 40 + lbs and utilize a ladder safely
