The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Landscape Project Manager to lead our installation division. This role blends strategic planning, hands-on project management, and client communication. You will oversee projects from planning through completion, manage crews and resources, and play a key role in the continued growth of our Springfield operations.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee all landscape installation projects from initial planning through final walkthrough and warranty period
- Create and manage project schedules, budgets, timelines, and profitability targets
- Lead, schedule, and supervise field crews while promoting a culture of quality, safety, and accountability
- Coordinate material procurement, vendor relationships, and equipment logistics
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and safety compliance
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Track project profitability, analyze labor variances, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare project documentation, change orders, progress reports, and updates
- Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and local regulations
What You Bring
Required
- 3+ years of landscape or construction project management experience
- Proficiency with landscape management software (Service Autopilot or equivalent)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising field crews
- Solid understanding of landscape installation, hardscape construction, and horticulture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common project management tools
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, or related field
- NALP certification or similar industry credentials
- OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification
- Experience with Illinois native plants and local growing conditions
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $62,000 – $70,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
- Performance Bonus: $4,000 – $8,000 annually based on project profitability, safety, and client satisfaction
- Total Potential Compensation: Up to $78,000

Work Schedule & Environment
- Full-time position: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (some flexibility)
- Occasional overtime during peak season (April–October)
- Approximately 40% office work and 60% field work
- Physical requirements include walking job sites, climbing stairs, and working outdoors
- Winter focus (November–March) on planning, estimating, and project preparation

Pay: $62,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
