Project Manager / Account Manager – Retail Fixture & Millwork Manufacturing
Location: Amityville, NY (On-site, Full-time)
Compensation: $90,000–$125,000 per year
Experience Required: 3+ years in project management, woodworking, or millwork manufacturing

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Account Manager with a strong background in retail fixture manufacturing or architectural millwork production. This is a client-facing, cross-functional role responsible for managing all aspects of project execution—from RFQ and purchase order review to production oversight and final delivery.
The Project Manager / Account Manager serves as the main point of contact for both clients and internal departments (engineering, production, procurement, logistics), ensuring that custom fabrication projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for key retail clients and stakeholders
Interpret architectural drawings and perform take-offs for custom casework and fixtures
Create, review, and process purchase orders and release orders
Manage multiple custom fabrication projects simultaneously across all phases
Collaborate with engineering and procurement to maintain gross profit goals
Initiate and manage change orders and scope adjustments
Track production schedules and shipping deadlines for on-time delivery
Visit client headquarters or store locations as needed
Monitor quality control, vendor timelines, and installation accuracy
Maintain project documentation using internal ERP or job tracking systems
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in project management or account management within woodworking, millwork, or store fixture manufacturing
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and architectural blueprints
Familiarity with manufacturing processes and custom build materials (wood, metal, acrylic, etc.)
Strong communication and organizational skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and project tracking tools
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Must be able to commute daily to Amityville, NY
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with custom retail fixture rollout programs
Prior exposure to manufacturing ERP systems
Understanding of material sourcing and vendor management
