What You’ll Do:
- All work related to building high quality homes including remodels and ground up construction. This includes, but is not limited to, framing of floors, walls, and roof systems, finish carpentry, window and door installation, hardware installation, demolition, and concrete layout.
- Report daily to Superintendent with intermittent check-ins.
- Responsible for daily task(s) set by Superintendent.
- Attend & participate in weekly site meetings.
- Maintain a clean & safe jobsite.
- Assist Superintendent in supervising laborers & subcontractors.
What You’ll Bring:
- Ability to layout and set concrete forms, place re-bar for footings and foundations.
- Skilled in framing layout and rough framing of walls, floors and roof systems, calculate roof rafters, layout and frame stairs, windows, and doors.
- Technical and working knowledge of building methods and construction practice.
- Ability to read architectural plans/drawings or willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift and handle normal building materials. Work often involves working in tight or high places (scaffolding, roof, and crawlspaces).
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License and good driving record with own insurance.
- Reliable transportation (truck is preferred) to commute to jobsite(s).
- Personal tools or the ability to acquire and maintain personal tools (see attached tool list).
- Working knowledge of local Building Codes and required inspections or willingness to learn.
- Ability to take direction and instruction.
- Ability to remain calm and composed when dealing with problems, difficult people, and frequent interruptions.
- Occasional overtime required.
- Ability to communicate ideas and information clearly and unambiguously in written, verbal or graphic formats.

Pay: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour
