Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated bilingual and skilled Labourers to join our team. The ideal candidate will posses a diverse skill set in various construction-related tasks, demonstrating proficiency in both manual and technical skills. We are willing to train beginners who are eager to learn different trades. This role requires a hands-on approach to assist in multiple projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Spanish is required. Travelling may be required.
Candidate must have reliable transportation and be capable of driving to area code 75474.
Duties
- Assist in carpentry tasks, including framing and installation of structures
- Support roofing projects by preparing materials and assisting with installations
- Engage in construction painting, ensuring surfaces are properly prepared and finished
- Participate in landscaping and upkeep yard work as needed
- Perform plumbing tasks such as installing fixtures and repairing leaks
- Participate in masonry work, including bricklaying and blockwork
- Execute welding duties for metal fabrication and repairs
- Utilise electrical experience for basic installations and troubleshooting
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Operate Bulldozer and similar vessels
- Assist in fabrication processes as required, contributing to the overall project completion
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in one or more of the following areas: carpentry, roofing, construction painting, landscaping, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools relevant to construction tasks
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team environment
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour for extended periods
- A valid driver's licence is preferred but not essential
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Proficient in reading and writing in Spanish is required
