When disaster strikes do you often find yourself wondering what you can do to help? We are seeking ambitious individuals who are passionate about helping others and who aren’t afraid to run into the storm when necessary. Our goal is to establish turn key basecamps that provide the support that lineman need while working to restore power to the affected community. In order to do that we bring in independent contractors who can work in the areas listed below.
Positions eligible for on the job training:
- Parking/ Flagging
- Housekeeping/ Laundry
- General Labor
Positions requiring previous experience:
- Security
- Admin
- Generator Technicians
- General Maintenance
- Equipment Operators
- Leadership Roles
General Requirements:
- Rapid response- ability to deploy on short notice
- Reliable form of transportation- to travel to the yard site anywhere along the Southern East Coast and Gulf Coast
- Adaptability- able to handle ever changing conditions and high stress situations
- Clear communication skills- due to the nature of what we do consistent lines of communication are paramount
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work long 12-18 hour days
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 20 pounds
Preferred Qualifications/ Helpful Experience (but not required):
- CDL
- EMT
- Former military training
- Heavy equipment licenses
- Journeyman electrical license
- OSHA30
- ServSafe certification
- Security licensing
