Duties
- Sort various materials and products according to established guidelines and specifications.
- Inspect items for quality and ensure they meet required standards before moving to the next stage of processing.
- Operate sorting equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with materials to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required.
- Familiarity with construction-related skills such as frame carpentry, construction painting, electrical work, flooring installation, concrete finishing, blueprint reading, drywall installation, masonry, power tools usage, and trim carpentry is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Good physical stamina; ability to stand for long periods and lift items as necessary.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Ability to read and write.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions closely.
