We’re Hiring: Chief of Staff / Head of Operations

I’m looking for a dynamic, resourceful, relentlessly driven Chief of Staff / Operations Leader to help build and scale JBL New York City and Smile House L.L.C. our hospitality-forward, tech-enabled, prevention-focused model for oral health and whole-body wellness.
Oral health has been separated from healthcare for too long. With emerging science, integrated technologies, and a deep understanding of the oral–systemic connection, this is our moment to transform care and prevent chronic inflammatory disease at the source. Smile House and J B L NYC is designed to lead that charge with:

🌟 About the Role
This is a mission-critical, builder seat for someone who thrives in early-stage growth environments and loves operating at the intersection of strategy, execution, people, and culture.
You will:
• You are my operational right hand; we make things happen
• Drive execution across operations, systems, HR, and patient journey and work closely into growth initiatives and our head of growth.
• Build the operational infrastructure that will scale Smile House for the next 5–10 years
• Architect and refine systems that create clarity, predictability, and flow
• Lead cross-functional alignment and elevate operational excellence
• Bring structure, rhythm, and momentum to the entire organization
• Help craft the culture, values, rituals, and team norms that define who we are
• Work hands-on in hiring, onboarding, developing, and retaining a world-class team
• Ensure that our people’s strategy aligns with our mission and vision every step of the way
🔥 Who You Are
You might be perfect if you…
• Have 5–10+ years in operations, Chief of Staff, marketing, growth, HR, or senior EA roles supporting executive leadership
• Have early-stage startup experience and know how to build from zero to one
• Understand that the heart of any great company is people, culture, and aligned values
• Have strong human resources instincts and know how to identify, hire, and develop talent
• Are exceptional at building teams and fostering alignment
• Have high EQ, emotional intelligence, and a genuine love for people
• Thrive in fast-moving, visionary environments
• Think in systems and execute with precision
• Are resourceful, organized, loyal, and energized by solving complex problems
• Love partnering closely with a CEO and amplifying the impact of the leadership team
• Are driven by mission and excited to disrupt an industry ripe for reinvention
