Are you a skilled carpenter with a passion for craftsmanship and community? EastView is seeking a Lead Carpenter to join our Facilities team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll manage and execute carpentry projects both on our campus and in the homes of non-residents, helping retrofit spaces for safe aging-in-place.

What You’ll Do

Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials
Install windows, doors, cabinets, flooring, and trim
Perform general carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work
Ensure all work meets safety and building code standards
Collaborate with project managers and clients
Maintain tools and workspaces in safe condition

What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent (trade certifications preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in construction or carpentry
Vermont Residential Contractor’s License (preferred)
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
Compassionate demeanor and excellent communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
