Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, expertise in construction processes, and the ability to ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable coordinating teams, managing contracts, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management & Coordination: Lead all phases of construction, from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow
- Oversee subcontractor performance, monitor site progress, and implement necessary adjustments
- Conduct regular site visits to review workmanship, ensure compliance, and troubleshoot issues
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols, ensuring all regulations are met
Technical Expertise & Execution:
- Review and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Oversee construction estimating, procurement, and cost control measures
- Ensure projects remain on time and within financial scope, resolving challenges proactively
- Utilize construction management software to streamline scheduling, budgeting, and reporting
Leadership & Communication:
- Manage and mentor employees, ensuring team cohesion and efficiency
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, team members
- Facilitate regular meetings, provide clear status updates, and resolve conflicts professionally
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management
- Strong background in large-scale commercial construction projects
- Proficiency in contract negotiation, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Hands-on field experience in construction management is a plus
- Expert in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Strong understanding of construction permitting and compliance
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively
- Proficient in project management software and documentation tools
