Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in the New York City Metropolitan Area for a Project Manager at JMJ Contracting Group. The Project Manager will oversee all phases of project planning and execution, including resource allocation, budget management, and scheduling. Daily tasks involve coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, managing logistics, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials, conducting project inspections, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The role requires effective communication, problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Project Management, including scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination
- Experience with Expediting and working as an Expeditor to ensure timely project progression
- Expertise in Inspection to maintain quality control and safety standards
- Skills in Logistics Management to oversee materials, deliveries, and supply chain operations
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail, deadlines, and budget constraints
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in the construction or contracting industry is a plus
