Project Manager
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Contract: Data center project
DECI Ltd is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support a major data center project in Chicago. This role suits someone who enjoys leading complex project delivery, coordinating multiple teams and keeping schedules, budgets and quality moving in a steady and organised way. You will work closely with engineering, commissioning and client teams to ensure the project runs smoothly from early phases through handover.
What you will do
- Oversee day to day project delivery across civil, structural, mechanical and electrical scopes
- Manage project schedules, milestones, resourcing, risk tracking and reporting
- Coordinate closely with client representatives, design partners, contractors and vendors
- Monitor work fronts to ensure progress aligns with quality and safety standards
- Review design documents, commissioning plans, change requests and technical submissions
- Support issue resolution and guide the team toward practical solutions
- Lead progress meetings and maintain clear communication across all stakeholders
- Prepare status reports, documentation and updates for internal and client management
- Contribute to a collaborative and steady project environment
What you bring
- Strong project management experience in data centers or other mission critical environments
- Proven background leading multidisciplinary teams
- Good understanding of construction and MEP systems
- Solid organisational and planning skills
- Practical problem solving and clear communication habits
- Ability to manage documentation, reporting and stakeholder coordination in a structured way
- Availability to work on site in Chicago for the duration of the project

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
