Job Description:
We are seeking a Mitigation Technician to join our team. As a Mitigation Technician, you will be responsible for restoring and repairing damaged properties caused by fire, water, or other disasters. Your main goal will be to ensure that the properties are restored to their pre-loss condition and to provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire restoration process.
Responsibilities:
- Remove debris and damaged materials from assigned property
- Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification to prevent mold growth, overseeing the team's efforts.
- Perform mold mitigation as required
- Perform smoke/fire mitigation as required
- Clean and sanitize affected areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment using appropriate chemicals and equipment
- Coordinate with field operations manager and lead technicians to ensure job quality.
- Document all restoration activities and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Follow directions and be accountable for one’s actions
- Participate in 24 hour on call rotation
Requirements:
-MUST HAVE a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
-IIRC certifications are a plus but not required.
- Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report background check
- Ability to be on-call 24 hours a day
-Ability to lift and carry 40lbs 100ft
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly pay starting from $25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- After-hours, on-call, and category 3 pay is double time with $100 bonus per job.
- 6 paid sick days per year, earned on an accrual basis
-Eligible to participate in group health insurance plan with 50% employer contribution
-Eligible to participate in 401K plan per plan guidelines
