Job Summary:
Panelmatic is seeking a detail-oriented experienced Engineering Manager who will design and implement Utility grade, industrial, commercial, and domestic electrical power systems.
Requirements
· Leads the engineering and project management efforts on assigned projects and is responsible for coordinating the individual Engineering Disciplines such that the most cost-effective total project solution for executing engineering work is achieved
· Ensures that the engineering work on the project is completed on schedule, meets quality standards including review meetings and checking procedures, performance is within the baseline man-hour and material budgets, required deliverables are produced and change management is executed in a timely manner
· Reviews the status of the schedule and progress performance with the Clients on a regular basis, and keep the General Managers apprised of issues
· Ensures the quality of the engineering execution and deliverables
· Participates in people development through mentoring, development of training material, and conducting or training seminars
· Develops and builds client relations
· Coordinate and develop structural and electrical documents for the scope of work definition, specification, data sheets, equipment selection, drawing review, schematic development, wiring diagrams, physical layout drawings, and project close-out procedures for low to medium-voltage industrial power distribution systems
· Prepare and review purchase orders for various electrical equipment
· Coordinate inspection and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for Power Distribution Centers and control enclosure buildings with the GM, MM and quality control inspector
· Exhibit thorough understanding of pertinent codes and governing regulations, and industry practices
· Perform all key duties & responsibilities set forth in QAP 30.1.3.
· Work directly with the GM & MM to set project priorities, schedules, workloads, and personnel requirements.
· Oversee all state inspection submissions and approvals and insure they are completed in a timely manner.
· Coordinate third party inspections of all required projects.
· Oversee all building shipments, loading, offloading, and site installations to insure successful project completion.
· Assist with inventory tracking and proper charges offs to projects before shipment.
· Assist GM as needed with other activities including sales, site visits, R&D, purchasing, estimating, etc. as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
· AS or higher in Electrical Engineering required
· Ten or more years of experience in electrical design and engineering required

• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required
• Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required
