The Program Manager position at WIN is designed to support and supplement our large Michigan product implementations using effective project and program management techniques. This position interfaces with groups across WIN and with our customers. Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork and organizational expertise will be key factors for success.
Your responsibilities will include:
Program Manager for Michigan statewide implementations for the Michigan Department of Education and the Michigan Department of Corrections
- Implement the Michigan program management process and be the go-to resource on Michigan project activities
- Work acrossWork across WIN departments to ensure successful Michigan testing events
- Assist in the creation of and maintain timelines for Michigan test administrations
- Orchestrate and, in some cases, execute on testing deliverables
- Serve as the point of contact to the paper-based test vendor and coordinate paper-based test deliverables with the vendor and the client
- Serve as the point of contact for all internal questions
- Schedule and facilitate regular meetings with Michigan stakeholders and generate project status reports
- Coordinate the execution of Project Plans, Quality Assurance Plans, Call Center Plans and Data Sharing Plans
- Work closely with WIN internal teams to ensure requirements, deliverables, and requests are clearly understood and acted upon
- Facilitate training sessions with District Test Coordinators, School Test Coordinators, Test Administrators, and with Department of Corrections staff
- Coordinate the development of test administration manuals and auxiliary test materials for Michigan test administrations and implement revisions as needed
- Track schedules and deliverables to ensure that the project stays well organized and on time
- Negotiate price and track expenditures, as appropriate
Ideal candidate qualifications include:
- Minimum of three years of project management experience with a proven track record of success
- Demonstrated ability to work across internal teams to build consensus and deliver projects in a timely manner
- Expertise in working with client populations to determine their requirements, communicate progress, resolve issues and deliver product
- Strong problem-solving abilities with an eye to the strategic impact of the decision
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Great attention to detail and a strong understanding of project priorities and deliverables
- B.S or B.A. degree
