As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for planning, execution, and completion of solar construction projects. Responsibilities range in project coordination, material procurement, permit management, and quality control, in addition to providing direct support to project-based staff and trades.
Heads up: This is a physically demanding role that will require you to work in all kinds of weather. A strong work ethic will serve you well, along with prior solar or construction experience (this is a plus, not a must!).

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the execution of project deliverables and ensure compliance with project timelines and standards.
- Lead procurement processes and coordinate engineering solutions in collaboration with project personnel.
- Acquire and sustain all necessary permits and ensure rigorous adherence to project specifications.
- Enhance team collaboration and communication across all project stakeholders, internally and externally.
- Supervise the generation and organization of project reports and technical documents and maintain strict control over project documentation.
- Provide operational support to superintendents, including timekeeping, resource allocation, and quality management.
- Demonstrate leadership in safety, initiating job hazard analyses, and advocating for safe work practices throughout the project duration.
- Set a positive example in both safety and quality for team members and subcontractors
- Enforce environmental policies by overseeing appropriate field staff training and certifications.
- Champion professional development of Field Engineers by designing and executing development plan training and certifications.
- Cultivate professional relationships with third parties and meet client expectations with high standards of communication.
- Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position
- Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by Management
Job Requirements
- MUST BE A RESIDENT OF THE STATE OF OHIO. PROOF WILL BE REQUIRED AT TIME OF HIRE
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or another related field, and 2 years construction experience, or; Minimum of 5 years' work experience in related field
- Must be competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Must have experience with construction scheduling, CPM logic, and best practices
- Demonstrated ability in supporting projects: development, planning, installation, and execution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel full-time
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced working environment
- Ability to lift up to 50-75+ pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to meet additional screening requirements
- While tools will be provided on site, please come ready with steel or composite toed boots and hot / cold weather gear
- This work is not for the faint of heart - Strong work ethic and positive attitude will serve you well
- Minimum, an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $57.00 - $60.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive skills and experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor were prohibited by local law.
