About us:
Acadia Painting creates quality interior and exterior painting services for both residential and commercial buildings. We focus on the specific details that make your project unique. Position Type:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Part-time: 20+ hours a week
Pay Range: TBD based on experience and skill level
Job description:
- Safety is a top priority. Establish site protocols and follow OSHA guidelines. STAY SAFE!
- Safely and professionally install wallpaper, murals, and other wallcoverings across varied surfaces
- Prepare walls for installation by cleaning, patching, sanding, and priming as needed
- Measure, cut, and align wallpaper with precision to match patterns and layout designs
- Remove old wallpaper or finishes when necessary
- Work collaboratively with clients, painters, and project managers to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Maintain tools and equipment and keep job sites clean and organized
- Take progress photos and document job details using BuilderTrend
- Troubleshoot site or surface challenges and communicate solutions with the team

Skills and Requirements:
- Proven experience installing wallpaper, wallcoverings, or murals
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Ability to work safely on ladders and scaffolding
- Familiarity with adhesives, primers, tools and techniques
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in high-end painting or a related field.
- Must have the ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
