Draftsperson

JAG Mobile Solutions is an established business with four manufacturing locations. Products are distributed globally in 19 countries on 4 continents. We also have a strong commitment to quality and customer service. We are looking for a Draftsperson to join our engineering team.
The Draftsperson will perform CAD design and development activities in support of the Engineering department’s mission.

Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with the Engineering Manager to complete the necessary working drawings for production units.
- Receive design information and use it to create and maintain accurate prints
- Perform complex, individual CAD related design activities
- Adhere to policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department
- Performs other related duties as needed.
Qualifications required: Proficiency with AutoCAD 2D
- Proficiency with 3D modeling, experience with Solidworks is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to effectively and accurately communicate orally and in writing
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Associates degree or technical training
- Experience preferred but not essential but be motivated to learn our process
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
