Description
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex multi-channel cross-functional marketing programs for Worldwide Grocery Stores (WWGS). This role combines strategic portfolio management, directing the planning and execution of creative projects supporting enterprise-level business initiatives within Marketing. This role partners with Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and North America Stores Marketing (NASM) stakeholders along with Product, Brand Creative, Channel, and Tech teams to lead the planning and execution of creative projects supporting high profile and high impact business initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
- Portfolio and Program Management
- Oversee a complex portfolio of marketing initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment and optimal resource allocation
- Lead the most complex, high-impact programs within Global Marketing, focusing on enterprise-level omnichannel customer experiences
- Implement strategic project management methodologies across the team to optimize performance and simplify ways of working
- Strategic Leadership and Stakeholder Management
- Partner with stakeholders to shape strategic initiatives and drive organizational change
- Influence leadership decision-making to align portfolio outcomes with marketing goals
- Build and maintain strategic relationships across the organization to facilitate program success
- Operational Excellence and Risk Management
- Design and implement scalable project management processes and best practices across the team
- Oversee portfolio risk management strategies and mitigation plans
- Manage resource allocation across multiple programs and projects
- Ensure consistent project delivery standards
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
