Qualifications
What you'll be doing:
The Manufacturing Performance Analyst collects, analyzes, and interprets production and operational data to help drive efficiency, quality, and cost improvement across the garment decoration manufacturing process.
This role supports operations by providing actionable insights across Production, Warehouse, and Maintenance areas. This position collaborates closely with continuous improvement to identify process improvement opportunities and measure project impacts.
The Analyst develops and maintains key perf
- Develop, track, and report on manufacturing KPIs including overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), downtime, scrap/yield, efficiency, and on-time performance.
- Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or Excel) for performance visibility across all departments.
- Support facility leadership including the Director of Operations and VP of Manufacturing with weekly and monthly performance summaries and trend reports.
- Quantify the impact of continuous improvement projects, including before/after metrics and cost savings.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and warehouse teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Partner with continuous improvement including the Operational Excellence Manager to support Lean, Kaizen, and process optimization initiatives.
- Assist in automating manual reporting and streamlining data collection processes.
- Maintain and validate data sources from production tracking systems.
- Provide root cause analysis and visual reporting (Pareto charts, trend graphs, etc.) to support decision-making.
- Prepare executive-level summaries and performance insights for leadership meetings.
- Assists with Production as needed
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree: Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Extensive Excel Experience
- Manufacturing or operations data analysis (preferably in apparel, textile, or garment decoration environments)
- Lean Six Sigma: Optional, but not required.
- Accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of KPI reporting and dashboards
- Improved visibility of production and warehouse performance data.
- Identification and communication of root causes for downtime, scrap, and efficiency losses.
- Validated data support for Continuous Improvement initiatives and project ROI.
- Reduction in manual reporting time and increased data automation.
- Positive feedback from leadership on data clarity and usability for decision-making.
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and data visualization
- Supporting Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Meet or exceed attendance expectations.
- Ensure that order fulfillment tasks are completed according to department standards and within set timelines.
- Achieve or surpass quality standards.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
