Monday - Friday (8 hrs/day): November - April
Pay commensurate with experience.
Wage consideration will be given for candidates considered "Experienced Operators". To be considered an "Experienced Operator" for this position applicant must have 2 or more years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

Track or Rubber Tire Backhoe operating experience (Digging at grade)

Road Grader operating experience

Dozer operating experience
-
Track or Wheel Skid loader operating experience
Working for the Manitowoc County Highway Department, this position:
-
Performs road maintenance and snow removal, and maintains right of way.

Maintains highway right-of-ways; mows grass, cuts trees and brush, repairs washouts, sprays weeds, and picks up trash.

Operates snow removal equipment.

Performs maintenance duties i.e., erects snow fences, shovels bridges patches pot holes, fills cracks, repairs and replaces guard railings, posts, bridges, and markers
A high school diploma or any combination of education and work experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position. A Class A Commercial Driver's License is required.
