Your Mission
As Director of Distribution & Logistics, you will be the architect of our global distribution strategy, transforming how we move products across continents while building world-class operational capabilities. Reporting directly to the VP of Global Operations, you will lead with both strategic vision and operational excellence, creating scalable systems that support our explosive growth while maintaining the exceptional quality our customers expect.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Global Optimization
- Design and execute comprehensive global distribution strategies that optimize our worldwide footprint across North America, Europe, and Asia.
- Lead network optimization initiatives to enhance service levels while reducing total landed costs.
- Partner with executive leadership to align distribution capabilities with long-term business objectives and OKRs.
- Drive strategic decisions on facility locations, and global inventory positioning.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration to ensure distribution excellence supports our "Life is Better with Music" mission.
International Operations Excellence
- Establish and manage strategic 3PL partnerships across Europe and Asia, from selection through implementation and ongoing optimization.
- Oversee multi-site distribution operations across the United States while building capabilities for international expansion.
- Ensure seamless compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and regional logistics complexities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with global logistics providers, negotiating contracts that drive both value and service excellence.
Technology & Innovation Leadership
- Spearhead digital transformation initiatives including WMS optimization, TMS implementation, and AI-driven logistics solutions.
- Champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies including predictive analytics, automation, and machine learning for demand planning.
- Build data-driven decision frameworks that provide real-time visibility across the global supply chain.
- Lead the integration of advanced technologies that position Sonance at the forefront of logistics innovation.
Team Development & Cultural Leadership
- Build and mentor a high-performing global logistics team that embodies our Humble, Hungry, Smart philosophy.
- Create development pathways that grow internal talent while attracting world-class logistics professionals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and authentic partnership.
- Establish clear accountability systems and KPIs that drive both individual and team excellence.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
- Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational efficiency across all distribution channel.
- Establish and maintain world-class safety, quality, and service standards.
- Develop robust business continuity plans ensuring supply chain resilience.

What You Bring
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain and logistics experience
- Minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles with P&L responsibility
- Proven track record of establishing and managing 3PL operations in Europe and Asia
- Demonstrated success in global supply chain strategy and network optimization
- Experience managing multi-site distribution operations in the United States
- Deep expertise in international trade compliance and customs regulations
Technical Expertise
- Advanced proficiency in WMS platforms and implementation
- Experience with TMS selection and deployment
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning applications in supply chain
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in network modeling and optimization tools
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced data analytics
Leadership Capabilities
- Proven ability to lead through influence and build authentic partnerships
- Track record of building and developing high-performing global teams
- Experience presenting to and influencing executives
- Demonstrated success managing complex stakeholder relationships across cultures
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business
- APICS CSCP, CLTD, or similar advanced supply chain certifications
- Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent continuous improvement certification
- Experience in consumer electronics or audio industry

Salary Description
$150,000-$175,000 plus yearly bonus
