Position summary: 10-4 Logistics USA seeks experienced and recent graduate CDL‑A drivers to operate regional dry van routes east of I‑35. This opportunity provides predictable regional schedules, modern equipment, and paid mentor‑led training for recent graduates. Assignments are 100% no‑touch freight and emphasize safety, on‑time delivery, and professional communication.
Compensation and scheduling:
- Estimated annual compensation: $70,000–$80,000.
- Paid training: First 4–6 weeks with a company mentor; training pay $650 per week.
- Home time: Typically two days every other week.
Area of operation, equipment, and freight:
- Area of operation: Regional routes east of I‑35.
- Equipment: Late‑model Freightliner tractors with automatic transmissions; fleet‑maintained units.
- Freight: Dry van, 100% no‑touch freight.
Primary responsibilities:
- Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with DOT regulations, hours‑of‑service rules, and company policies.
- Transport dry van freight on assigned regional routes, meeting scheduled pick‑up and delivery windows and customer requirements.
- Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections; identify and promptly report defects or maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate driving records, including ELD entries and required inspection and maintenance documentation.
- Communicate professionally and promptly with dispatch, customers, and company personnel; follow routing and load instructions.
- Secure cargo appropriately and follow handling procedures to prevent damage or loss.
- Report accidents, incidents, delays, or compliance issues immediately and cooperate with incident reviews and investigations.
- Represent the company professionally while on duty, maintaining appropriate appearance and conduct at customer locations and in public.
Minimum qualifications:
- Valid CDL‑A (Class A) license.
- Minimum age: 21 years.
- Recent graduates: Completion of at least 120 hours of truck driving school within the past 12 months (recent graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive mentor‑led training).
- Ability to meet DOT medical requirements.
- Ability to pass required pre‑employment and periodic drug and background screenings.
- Proficiency in English sufficient for safe operation and clear communication with dispatch and customers.
Preferred qualifications and attributes:
- Demonstrated professionalism and customer service orientation.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and strong adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Coachability and willingness to learn company procedures and mentor guidance during training.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and electronic dispatch communication is a plus.
