Job Description
Anagram’s Senior Director of Information Technology plays a critical role in delivering scalable, reliable technology platforms that support stable business operations and drive organizational efficiency, at an 24x7x365 global manufacturing and distribution company. This leader oversees the strategic direction and performance of the U.S. IT organization, which is structured into four key pillars:
- Data, Integrations, & Application Development
- Cybersecurity & IT Operations
- ERP & EDI
- IT Project Management & Business Analysis
- In addition to domestic responsibilities, the role includes oversight of global IT policies and support, ensuring alignment and consistency across international operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Overseeing IT includes optimizing the use of existing technologies across departments, evaluating and recommending new solutions to enhance business performance, and overseeing the IT project portfolio, including cross-functional, enterprise-wide initiatives. This role ensures strategic alignment, prioritization, and successful delivery of technology efforts. Additional responsibilities include IT vendor management, budgeting, and procurement oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop IT personnel, fostering a highperformance culture
- Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, protocols, and standards
- Drive departmental efficiency by streamlining manual and siloed processes through scalable, integrated solutions
- Align IT organizational structure and skill sets with evolving business needs, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities
- Define and manage annual KPIs for the IT department to measure performance and impact
- Develop and execute technology strategies across core areas including Cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, Server Management, Network Infrastructure, Data Architecture, and Application stack including ERP, PLM, EDI, WMS, etc.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies that can enhance IT performance and contribute to business growth and functional savings across the organization.
- Communicate the cost, value, and risk profile of current and proposed IT solutions to executive leadership
- Ensure IT strategies and processes effectively support companywide objectives
- Lead contract negotiations with IT vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Serve as a member of the senior leadership team, integrating technology initiatives with broader organizational goals
- Provide regular updates on technology status, strategic goals, and progress to executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and manage the IT budget, including invoice approval and financial oversight

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of technology, process, and management procedures
- Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, IT management, or another relevant field
- Five or more years’ IT management experience, with at least 2 years’ experience at a company in the manufacturing or supply chain industry
